what is your favourite thing about the city you live in…

i have only been in montreal for three months, but the food and arts scenes are both really vibrant. there is a strong creative spirit across the city which means there is always something interesting happening.

normally out and about, exploring montreal and getting used to my new hometown.

untitled ep by hodgy beats, visions by grimes, severant by kuedo and kings and them by evian christ, are on rotation at the moment.

i don’t tend to roll deep, but normally people from the office. we are a close team that work and play hard together.

the digital grapevine.

what keeps you inspired…

there are so many talented hard-working people in this industry that every day i find something that inspires me: it could be a new designer with a unique point of view or something new and innovative from anyone or anywhere. the internet is great for leveling the playing field; if you have a good idea or product then it will spread – the world is far more open in that sense than it ever has been.

what makes your store unique…

innovation is key across everything; from the collections we carry to the site itself, our editorial content and direction, along with who we are collaborating with. every aspect is highly considered and constantly refined, to ensure we always continue to evolve.

what’s next for your store…

we have plenty up our sleeve for 2012 that will turn heads and change people’s perceptions of what an online store can be. watch this space.

i think wings+horns is…

great, actually! the cut of the pieces suit me really well. a couple of pairs of pants and button-downs are wardrobe staples for me.

something outside of fashion would be interesting.

what’s on your list of things to pick up for yourself this season…

the standout raf simons show shoes are top of my list; they are a serious pair of shoes. there is also some givenchy and junya pieces that should be dropping on ssense.com soon that i can’t wait to get my hands on.
